About this notice
DC Pools operates www.dcpoolsllc.com. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, ask about a pool or spa project, or contact us. Ben handles privacy questions at ben@dcpoolsllc.com.
Contact inquiries
When you contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, project type and project details. We use it to respond, discuss your property and plans, prepare a proposal and manage any resulting work. Please do not include payment details, government identification numbers or other sensitive information in the website form.
Website inquiries are delivered to Ben by email using Resend. Ben manages inquiries manually. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the form from spam and abuse and may process technical information about your browser, device and connection. Contacting us is not an enrollment in an automated marketing program.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website and whether a visit leads to an inquiry. Google may receive page and interaction information, referral information, browser and device details, network information such as your IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers.
Our website does not send the name, email address, phone number or message entered in the contact form to Google Analytics or Google Ads. We measure a completed inquiry through the confirmation page without including the inquiry details. Google Analytics form-interaction collection is disabled.
Google Ads
We use Google Ads to advertise our services and measure which advertisements lead to website visits, inquiries or calls. Google Analytics and Google Ads may share measurement information through linked accounts. Google and our website may use cookies or similar identifiers to connect an ad interaction with activity on the website.
Our marketing provider, Logical Position, helps manage advertising and measurement reports. We do not upload contact-form details to Google for enhanced conversions or customer-list advertising.
Call tracking
Google call tracking may display a forwarding number that connects you to DC Pools. Google processes call information, which may include your phone number, call time, duration and whether the call connected, so we and our marketing provider can measure advertising results. These call details are separate from information entered in the website form.
DC Pools and its marketing provider do not record or transcribe customer calls.
Remarketing
We do not use this website to build remarketing audiences for ads based on your previous visits. Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals are disabled. We still use the advertising measurement described above. If we introduce remarketing, we will update this policy and provide any required notices and choices before enabling it.
Cookies and privacy choices
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The website uses a short-lived cookie to display a valid inquiry confirmation; it expires after 15 minutes and does not contain your message or contact details. Google services may use separate cookies and identifiers for analytics and advertising measurement.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some features, including the inquiry confirmation, may not work as expected when cookies are blocked. Google offers advertising controls and an Analytics opt-out browser add-on through the links below. Advertising controls do not necessarily stop all measurement or all ads.
You can ask Ben to stop optional follow-up or raise a privacy concern by emailing ben@dcpoolsllc.com. We may still need to communicate about work you have requested or an existing project.
Sharing, retention and your rights
Information is handled by Ben and the providers needed to operate the website, deliver messages, protect against abuse and measure advertising. These include Vercel for hosting, Resend for form-email delivery, Cloudflare for spam protection, and Google and Logical Position for measurement and advertising. Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser details and request logs. Providers may process information in the United States and other countries under their own policies and our service arrangements.
Ben manages inquiry records manually; the website does not automatically delete his business correspondence. How long records are needed depends on the inquiry, any resulting project, and legal, accounting or dispute-related requirements. You can contact Ben to ask about records we hold or request deletion. Provider records, including analytics and security logs, have separate retention settings.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to limit certain uses. Send requests to Ben. We may need to verify your identity and may need to retain some information to meet legal obligations or complete requested services. We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no website or email service can guarantee complete security.
